"Kick in the mouth chocolate love"
That's what I call this recipe for chocolate sauce. First let's read over the ingredients you will need.
12 ounces semisweet chocolate cut into small pieces
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup granulated white sugar
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1/2 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
Go ahead and get a double boiler set up and start boiling the water. While you're waiting for that chop or break your semi-sweet chocolate into manageable chunks.
Combine the cream, corn syrup, and chili powder in a bowl. After that's done set it to boil and stir it frequently. Once it starts boiling introduce the vanilla extract into the mix and continue to stir. After it's properly mixed remove from heat and allow it to cool.
Either use it immediately or cover and store it in the fridge for later use. Thank you for reading.
